Roundwood prices in Sweden rose by 9%, while pulp prices increased by 7% in the second quarter of 2025

Roundwood prices in Sweden increased during the second quarter of 2025, with sawlogs up by 9% and pulpwood up by 7% compared to the first quarter, based on newly released figures from the Swedish Forest Agency.

In Q2 2025, the purchase prices per m3sub were as follows: sawlogs of Scots pine at 1,025 kr, sawlogs of Norway spruce at 1,234 kr, pulpwood of conifers at 644 kr, pulpwood of broadleaved trees at 629 kr, and fuelwood at 553 kr.

Delivery timber prices rose by 10% for sawlogs and 7% for pulpwood in Q2 2025, compared to Q1. The results are based on preliminary figures covering four regions: Northern Norrland, Southern Norrland, Svealand, and Götaland. Revisions may occur in future updates.
