The French building-materials group Saint-Gobain has announced
the signing of a definitive agreement to sell Brüggemann, a
German specialist in prefabricated solutions, to the Köster
Group. Brüggemann, which employs 190 people, generated revenues
of approximately €55 million in 2024. The company operates a
plant in Neuenkirchen, Germany.
The transaction aligns with Saint-Gobain's strategy to optimize
its business profile as part of its "Grow & Impact" plan. The
Köster Group is a leading name in German construction, offering
services from planning to turnkey construction.
The deal, expected to close by the end of 2025, follows joint
developments between Saint-Gobain and Brüggemann, enhancing
Saint-Gobain's role as a preferred partner for prefabrication
solutions.
