In August, the softwood sawlog price fell by around €2/m3. According to the Holzkurier’s research, spruce/fir logs B, 2b cost between €86 and €100/m3. The price level is thus around €14/m3 lower compared to the same month of last year, but the downward trend seems to have come nearly to a standstill in August.
